Hello Stampers ~ I used new paper with a retired set for my Brightly Gleaming #ShopYourCraftStash creation.
I spent yesterday morning cleaning my floors and then sewing in the afternoon. I managed to get two things crossed off my list and another one well on it’s way. Today we are going to Mumfest in the morning and I have a friend coming to visit and see the house this afternoon. After that I will spend some time reading my book and working on Michaela’s baby blankets. I am behind in both of those. The book is the most important as the book club is meeting on Monday evening and I still have 137 pages to finish before the meeting. I can do it as long as I have the time.
I am enjoying the #ShopYourCraftStash series and I hope you are also. I love being able to use my retired product. I also love combining a new product with a retired one as it allows me to play with new things. For today’s card I combined the new Brightly Gleaming designer series paper with a retired stamp set. I began with a Night of Navy card base and embossed the front of the card base using the Subtle embossing folder. A piece of the Brightly Gleaming dsp was attached to the card front using Tear & Tape. The sentiment comes from Timeless Tidings and was stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla using Night of Navy ink. The layering ovals were used to cut it out. A scrap of Copper Foil was used and a larger layering oval was cut out. The two ovals were layered using Tear & Tape. To finish the card the sentiment was attached to the card front using dimensionals. Here is the completed Brightly Gleaming #ShopYourCraftStash creation.

This paper makes beautiful Christmas cards. Here is another idea where the paper takes center stage. Want an idea for a Fall card? Check out the Brightly Gleaming Thinking of You creation for a great idea.
